The Maersk-class is meant to run on a low personnel count, relying heavily on artificial intelligence to automate the majority of the processes that occurs regularly inside the ship.
The Maersk-class is designed to be a heavy ship, but lacks the armaments to properly defend itself on its own against overwhelming numbers though it is still able to defend against any interlopers when need be. The Maersk-class Heavy Freighter is a cargo transport vessel manufactured by Omnibus as a means to transport large amounts of cargo and products across trade routes in a significantly faster pace than normal freighters that run on hyperdrives.
